Albuquerque Isotopes

Albuquerque’s baseball team is the Isotopes, a AAA affiliate of the Florida Marlins. The stadium, remodeled in 2003, is located at the corner of Cesar Chavez and University. Attending a game is a great way to spend an afternoon or evening. I am not the biggest fan of baseball, but I enjoy watching a game, the sunset and spending a night out with friends. During the summer, day games can get very hot, so make sure you dress appropriately and bring a hat and sunscreen, which is something I forgot on my first day game.

Food and Drinks
Food and drinks are very expensive at the stadium, which I guess is normal. However, they have many different choices ranging from hot dogs to Dion’s Pizza. You can also get ice cream in a hat for $5. Drinks start at about $3.50. I bring my own water (which you are allowed to do if it has never been opened and you remove the label).
