Zoo Music and Summer Nights

I have not yet been to Zoo Music, but I am planning a trip later in the summer, so I will have more information and pictures after my trip. Here is the schedule for 2008.

Summer Nights (Thursdays at the Botanic Gardens)
6/05 Eliza Gilkyson – Original Folk
6/12 Seamus Kennedy – Celtic Fun
6/19 The Wilders – Old-time Country
6/26 Girlyman – Folky Pop Bluegrass
7/10 Billy Jonas – Songwriter/Percussionist
7/17 The Jimmy Stadler Band – Rock and Country

8/07 South by Southwest – Country Dance Music

Tickets are $8 for adults, $4 for seniors, $2 for kids and children 2 and younger – free. Gates open at 6:00pm and concerts begin at 7:00. Take a picnic basket or purchase food at the show. Beer and wine are sold there, you may not bring your own. Parking at the zoo is limited so arrive early or take the park and ride from the aquarium.
